Hi! I've been invited to an ABC party. I want to make a newspaper dress, and I absolutely LOVE your design! This dress is by far the cutest one I've seen! Do you have any tips you could share with me on how to begin the dress? I'm just a little stuck on getting started. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance. :o)
hi. I am doing a recycled project for my textiles coursework. I want to make it from magazine papers. I love the dress that you made from newspapers. So can you help meh how to get started. Thankyou!
i made this dress almost 5 years ago! um, the skirt is just two large sheets of newspaper strips woven together, then draped around the dressform and taped together.
the top was folded strips of newspaper, to add strength. i pinned them around the neckline, and started weaving them together. they were woven directly onto the dress form, with the help of pins to hold ends in place.
